For Crying Out Loud!

I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one that feels pain so deeply, you are compelled to only keep silent. A pain that is so deep, it takes your ability to speak. You can only sit within your thoughts, saying nothing. Just thinking of the cause, the reason or the thing, that has made it such a reality. All that, which brought it to the center of your heart. All, that brought this depth of pain into your world. You think about all that has brought it head-to-toe, into you, into your life. It fills your mind. It has filled your body.

This kind of pain can stem from anyone that you care deeply about. You truly need to embrace that pain, for it tells you just how capable you are at really caring about someone. Someone, other than yourself, which is something many have forgotten how to do. Unconditionally. Without expectations. Without a cause. You need to embrace the fact that you are an amazing human being, when you feel pain so deeply. For it’s the depth of that pain, that shows you the depth of your character, your love, your soul.

There’s nothing wrong with a good, hard cry, at times. I’m talking about the kind that makes it hard to catch your breath. The kind that makes it difficult to breathe. The kind that makes your hands raise up and cover your face. Not so no one can see, but because their warmth is comforting. The emotion is contained and helps make it all feel more complete. Yes, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with a good, hard cry. But realize, even in this moment, you are in control. Let those tears roll. Give them freedom. Set them free, give them their moment. Embrace the warmth and comfort of all their emotion.

The depth of pain comes from so many things, so many reasons. A good, hard cry doesn’t make the pain disappear. A good, hard cry doesn’t make the cause or reason disappear. Most certainly, the root of your pain will still exist. A good, hard cry cannot possibly solve all your worlds problems. It’s not supposed to. What a good, hard cry is supposed to do, is make you feel just a little bit better. A good, hard cry can help you put things in place, see more clearly. But, only if you maintain the control.

The best way to clarify your thinking, to realize a deeper understanding of your pain, is to allow the emotion to, first, run its course. Hence, a good, hard cry, if need be. Once the emotion runs its course, you are then able to see a little more clearly. Emotion makes us human, it favors no gender. Emotion, itself, can cause a cloudy view of what we should see, what we need to see. As with tears, you are in control of the emotion. You control the value of emotion. You control how far it’s allowed it to run. You control what it does to your character, your love, your soul. In doing that, you control the depth of pain.

So, go ahead, allow yourself to have a good, hard cry, if you need to. Let it take your breath away. Let it make it hard to breathe. Cry hard into your hands and let your good, hard cry be complete, in all its emotion. Let yourself feel the depth of your pain. Set those tears free, for just a moment…or two. Allow that good, hard cry be a cleansing, a fresh breath. A fresh breath of spring. As April showers bring May flowers, allow those tears to cleanse your emotion. Allow them to cleanse your pain, in that moment.

Allow the warm rain of those tears, grow a more clarified moment to follow. No matter how small the flower, no matter the size of the bloom. Allow that release, so that you can see what you need to. Embrace the amazing human being you have grown to be. The amazing human that feels so deeply. Give those tears only their moment, for giving them length, creates a depressed sense. Allow your strength to show your courage how to take power over your well-being. Recognize your amazing self, especially in this moment. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with a good, hard cry. Just so long as, you do it right. Let it be cleansing, give it value, like rain. Let it do you good. Give it only a few moments. It will make you feel just a little bit better. Go ahead, because you truly are an amazing human being, to feel so deeply.

YOU are truly an amazing human being, for so many reasons; but feeling this, releasing it and expressing it in such this way is truly a gift for ALL.
